The Coaching for Great Work Program
A comprehensive coaching program, it gives managers, executives and leaders the skills and capacity to provide focused, results-based coaching that increases clarity, expands possibilities and creates accountability in ten minutes or less.
Coaching for Great Work is not your usual corporate “training”.
Before creating our program, we started by looking at why managers were not adopting coaching and integrating it as part of their daily routine. Coaching for Great Work is specifically designed to overcomes the barriers to coaching and manager resistance.
Our program is refreshingly simple to apply. There’s no course binder to collect dust. Our three simple mini-coaching cards are the only quick reference you need (and before long you won’t need those either). Tied to your (and the company’s) goals, Coaching for Great Work is relevant, urgent and immediately useful.
Here’s why:
Even the most unlikely managers can do this stuff. Because the coaching program focuses on processes instead skill-sets, coaching no longer takes years of practice or the perfect personality type to capture its value.
Crisp accountability. You’ll be able to spark action but with clearness around who’s doing what and when so you can stop worrying about it.
Easily apply the 1:1 process with your team as a whole. Using 1:1 coaching techniques with teams transfers the benefits of clarity, bigger thinking and focused action to your group too.
Reduce angst around performance-related conversations. Because quality communication becomes much easier, manager-employee relationships strengthen and issues don’t fester but instead get nipped in the bud.
What you receive in the coaching program
Coaching for Great Work is a comprehensive program offered exclusively in-house for groups of 12-20 participants, usually managers, executives and leaders. It begins with a one or two-day group facilitation.

The coaching program’s materials are designed to avoid the fate of most training materials – filed, never to be seen again. Materials include:

- Coaching Moment #3: Spark Action
Post-Coaching Support
There is also a comprehensive post-session program to ensure “drip irrigation” and significantly increase the likelihood of retention and implementation. It includes:
- 26-week e-course reinforcing the distinctions of the manager-coaching program
- A facilitated group conference calls for questions, troubleshooting and further learning.
- A buddy accountability system, with three designed accountability meeting outlines
